My Vision
I hope that the Wakefield HS News mobile applications will be a place the community can go to to keep up with Wakefield Events and be a launching platform for student creations. The application collects and categorizes tweets from Wakefield making it easier to find news. Additionally, no Twitter sign in so anyone with an Android or iPhone can keep up with events.
In the "My News" section, users can follow twitter feeds
(such as their class twitter feed or certain clubs) of their
choosing.
The applications can be downloaded on the android and iOS
market by looking up "Wakefield High School News"
How it Works
The application collects Twitter feeds from the Twitter account @cwakefield_app. So who ever has access to this account can add and remove people/groups from appearing in the application's "home" feed.
Additional features can be added to this applicaiton thorugh updates.
